ISO (International Organisation for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (i.e. Bsi)…a strategic decision by 1Cold to improve performance, quality & basis for continual improvement.

Became members of the IACSC (International Association for Cold Storage Construction)
Founded in 1978, the IACSC supports the needs & interests of organisations involved in the construction of cold storage facilities. It provides the forum for innovative ideas, promotes standards of practise, legal & regulatory requirements. The IACSC is a core partner of the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), representing industries engaged in temperature-controlled logistics worldwide.

Became members of the BFFF (British Frozen Foods Federation)
The BFFF is the UK’s frozen food trade association with over 350 members comprising of producers, wholesalers, importers, exporters, retailers & associated businesses. The BFFF provides the opportunity for frozen food companies & associates to gain awareness of commercial & legislative matters.

1Cold exhibits at the Temperature Controlled Storage & Distribution (TCS&D) in Peterborough. Key forum for 1Cold addressing food manufacturers, wholesalers & retailers alike involved in cold & chill storage & logistics & distribution.
2016
Awarded Altius Approval (Assured Altius Vendor)
1Cold completes 50,000m3 Logistics & Warehouse Distribution Centre operating at 2°C, in Telford. Project duration was 22 weeks and provided an additional 5k pallets of chilled warehousing space & flexibility for the client. Linking into an existing building (via two insulated interconnecting tunnels with rapid rise doors), the fully cladded structure lined with Kingspan PIR insulated panels had to be carefully planned, so as not to disrupt existing operations.
Meeting the requirements of the new standard, 1cold completes the transition from ISO 9001: 2008 to ISO 9001: 2015.
1Cold acting as Principal Contractor, completes £1.2m Pharmaceutical fit-out project involving hygienic production clean rooms, freezers, M&E, offices, toilets, kitchen, mezzanine & external works.
